      • -Like being likable
      • -But also building trust – do what you say
  • -Keep your ego in check
  • -Your greatest opportunities are in “down markets” when everyone else is running for the hills
    • -This is a life and investment skill
    • -Means being disciplined when things are easy so you don’t over-extend
    • -But it’s when everyone else is scared and in trouble that really big opportunities exist
    • -This also means taking disadvantages (eg. Inexperience) and turning it into an asset
      • -For example, Steve was able to use his inexperience to approach much more experienced, successful businessman who didn’t see him as a threat
  • -When you’re after something, whether a job or money, remind yourself you don’t need them
    • -Money is the most plentiful thing in the universe – it can literally be created from nothing
    • -Approaching other people this way gives you a confidence and removes neediness
